Find a Choke Point: Select a defensive line which limits the number of AI units that can simultaneously attack you. Remain on the defensive until Turn 10 or 13 by which time the AI army will be mostly destroyed. And by turn 10, most of your army will be dead. On turn 8, you will need just a couple of lucky hits to turn the tide in your favor. If you charge towards the AI castle, on Turn 4 you will be crushing the AI.
